Sam, what is your current role with MediMatrix? Technical Customer Service and Support.

How long have you been with MediMatrix? I believe it is coming up on 5 years now… wow time flies!

Which colleagues at MediMatrix have you worked with the longest? Pretty much all of them! A lot of the staff have been here since long before I started. Although, I work closest with my fellow support team, that being Matt, Nolan and Diana.

What is your favorite part about this job? There is a lot to love about this job. Great team, great customers, ability to work from home. I think what I like the most though is the fact that I work for a company where I truly feel valued as an employee. I’ve worked for larger companies in the past and it is really easy to get lost in the day-to-day shuffle. Here at MediMatrix, I feel like my ideas and my contributions truly make a difference. I don’t feel like just another ‘spoke in the wheel’. Here, I can come up with an idea, something that will either improve my daily work life or the lives of our customers, run it by our dev team, and they can make it come to life! It is pretty cool to be able to look at something new on our website and know that I had a hand in making it happen.

If you could eliminate one thing from your daily routine, what would it be and why? If I could eliminate anything, it would probably just be household chores. Especially the never-ending saga known as “laundry”. 

What’s the one thing on your bucket list you’d like to do or accomplish? I’ve always wanted to learn how to play the piano or the drums. This may just be a dream though as I feel I may lack the required hand-eye coordination.

What is your favorite music genre? Finally, an easy question! Pop-punk / pop-rock for sure!

What is the best music concert you’ve ever been to and why? My favorite concert was Blink-182 and No Doubt. It was an outdoor venue in Chicago and it was a PERFECT day outside. Two of my all-time favorites!
